Joseph Lee Poncho “Joey” was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and friend! To those who truly knew him, he was the best kind of friend who made his friends feel like family! Joseph absolutely adored his son, Lee David Poncho, and his adopted kids who he loved as his own and he took every opportunity to spend time with them! He also adored his niece Halley Poncho, always doting on her accomplishments. He was a proud brother and enjoyed being with his siblings.
Joseph loved whole-heartedly and was always happy. He always tried to keep a positive outlook on life even when things weren’t going his way! He loved powwows, dancing and singing, traveling, DJ’ing and being around family! He loved to make jokes and laugh with everyone - always with a quick-witted response! Joseph dedicated his life to Christ as a young boy and then rededicated his life to Christ in his adult years! Joseph lived his life full of energy, love, and hope - always trying to encourage others along the way!
Those left to cherish is memories are his father Janson Poncho, his sons Lee David Poncho & Daniel Peck, his daughter’s Serenity & Brinley Peck, his siblings Davida “Dovey” Poncho, David Poncho, Isaac Poncho, his niece Halley Poncho, and his paternal grandmother Lora Langley along with a host of uncles, aunts and cousins!
Joseph is preceded in death by his mother Danielle Poncho; paternal grandfather Lee David Poncho; maternal grandfather General Grant; maternal grandmother Theresa Yarber.
