Kinder-Funeral Services for Joseph Robert Mouton, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Jude Fernando will officiate. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Jennings under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Joseph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Evelyn, until her passing in 2019. He found Christ at an early age and was very proud of his catholic faith. Joseph enjoyed fishing, playing cards and dominoes. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a kind and giving person. Joseph was a hard worker and worked in the painting and construction business for thirty plus years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Joseph's memory include his brother, James Ray Mouton; two sisters, Elizabeth Gordon and Margaret Achane; and one special niece, Darlene Mouton.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Edna Mouton; wife, Evelyn Mouton; five brothers, Forest, Clarence, Richard and Albert Mouton and Lawrence Gillard; and five sisters, Rita Mouton, Mary Gillard, Loretha Malenson, Juanita Nixon and Alice Jeffery.
