"Mike" was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard-working man who had a passion for many things in his life, his wife being his number one. Whether he was at the camp getting ready for hunting season or just riding the dirt roads, he always had an excuse to find himself in the woods. When "Mike" was not deer hunting, he enjoyed playing pool and surrounding himself with friends and family. He always loved to cook, have a few drinks, and play cornhole with his loved ones, that is, if you could get him off the dance floor long enough. Mike loved to be behind the wheel of anything with a motor in it. Racing was his calling. He was such a competitive man, and he loved to win, especially when it came to card games. "Mike" will be missed by all that knew him and loved him. He truly was one of a kind. Rest in peace my love.
Those left to cherish "Mike's" memory include his wife, Candace Rials Chevalier, his father, Joe Chevalier, and wife Louise; son, Austin Chevalier, and wife Sarah; grandson, Kylen Chevalier; daughter, Amber Chevalier; three sisters, Christine Ledet, Katherine Chevalier, and Monica Guillot; mother-in-law, Kimberlie T. McKenzie; brother-in-law, Zack McKenzie, sister-in-law, Alison R. Sims; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
