Kinder-Funeral service for Joseph Peter Eaglin, 71, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Monsignor Ronald Groth will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 10 a.m.
Joseph was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved to fish and ride his motorcycle. Joseph loved his dogs and music. He served our country in the United States Army. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Those left to cherish Joseph's memory include his son, Durell Eaglin, and wife, Anitra, of Kinder; two daughters, Venise Eaglin and Jere Eaglin both of Kinder; one brother, Leonard Eaglin of Kinder; one sister, Mable DeVille and husband, Joseph, of Kinder; five grandsons; and one great granddaughter.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Camille Eaglin; three brothers, Patrick Eaglin Jr., Wilfred Eaglin Sr., Wilton Eaglin Sr.; and one sister, Mary Cole.
