Joseph, affectionately known as "Doug", was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, father-in-law, and friend to all. Doug was a devoted and faithful member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where he was involved in Eucharistic ministries. Doug was also involved with the Cursillo movement. He loved listening and dancing to French music, especially when his dad would play the accordion. He enjoyed and appreciated the outdoors and loved camping and fishing. He and his wife loved to go to friend's houses and play the game "Aggravation". He will be remembered for loving to dress in his black cowboy hat and his boots.
