Elton-A celebration of life for Joseph William "Bill" Jones, Jr., 65, will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 4 p.m. until time of service.

Bill was a loving husband to his wife, Pam, for more than forty years, as well as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He worked hard as a cross country and local truck driver for more than thirty years to provide for his family.  Bill was an avid race car fan and enjoyed traveling with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and had a great love for people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Bill's memory include his wife, Pam, of Elton; one son, Lyndon Cole of Elton; two daughters, Kristy Montoya and husband, Mike, of Texarkana and Hailey Maglalang and husband, Glen, of Carencro; nieces and nephews, Brad Durio, Kaylyn Fontenot, Kellen Durio, Alison LeBleu and Phillip Durio; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Bessie Jones; and sister, Gloria Jones.
