Pitkin-Funeral services for Johnny Wayne Henry, 68, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Believers Bible Church in Pitkin. Rev. Brian Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow at Beaver Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Believers Bible Church on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 4-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Johnny was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather whom loved being around his family. He was an avid outdoorsman. You could always find Johnny at the races. He enjoyed visiting with anyone he could and swinging on his porch. He worked hard at Boise to provide for his family until his well-deserved retirement. Johnny enjoyed going to church and loved serving his Lord. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Johnny's memory include his wife, Debra Ware Henry; two sons, Timothy W. Henry and Lance S. Henry; daughter, Melissa Ross; sister, Eugenia Marie Bond; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Alice Henry.
