Kinder-Funeral services for John Thomas "Tommy" Harrison, 75, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Bro. Timothy Harrison will officiate. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Tommy was a loving husband to his wife, Catherine, for thirty-one years, as well as a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a 1965 graduate of Westlake High School. He spent his career in the petrochemical and construction industry. His passion was hunting and being at the deer camp. Tommy loved hunting with his dogs. When he wasn't hunting he was watching Nascar. More than anything, Tommy loved his family and holding babies. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Tommy's memory include his wife, Catherine Harrison; son, Gage Harrison of Sulphur; four daughters, Melissa Bowles of Longville, Krista Harrison of Longville, Jennifer Harrison of Westlake and Kelley Harrison of New York; two brothers, Timothy Harrison and wife, Una, of Alexandria and Terry Harrison and wife, Cathy, of Sulphur; one sister, Carolyn Robertson and husband, Doug, of Westlake; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; nephews, John Doyle, Phillip Robertson, Scotty Harrison, Patrick Harrison, Billy Harrison, Michael Harrison and Jonathan Harrison; and niece, Mandy Verheek.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Alice Harrison; grandson, Cameron Rougeau; nephew, Rusty Robertson; and niece, Penney Ruth Harrison Kitler.
