John, affectionately known as Kevin, was a loving husband, son, father and brother. He enjoyed playing drums, golfing, playing guitar, shooting his bow and arrow and watching movies, as well as Batman. Kevin had many accomplishments. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, was NCO and a two-time instructor of the year, retired as SFC and was a veteran from Desert Storm. His beloved dog, Faline, was like his child. They spent every day together running, playing, watching TV and cuddling every night. His other buddy was Tux, his adopted cat. He treated him as his son. They were inseparable. Most of all, Kevin enjoyed spending time with his kids. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Kevin's memory include his mom, Cynthia Smith; wife, Vanessa Kennedy Savoy; two sons, Ryan and Jack Savoy; one daughter, Olivia Savoy; four brothers, Randy, Donny, John and Michael Savoy; one sister, Francine Manuel England; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Rayford Manuel; and his adoptive father, Al Savoy.
