Kinder-Funeral service for John Pousson, 79, will be held Monday, March 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Drew Fontenot will officiate. Burial will follow in LeFranc Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder from 3-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014. Visitation will continue on Monday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Pousson was a lifelong resident of Iowa and was currently residing at Kinder Retirement Center. He proudly served our country in the Korean War while serving with the United States Army.
Survivors include his sister, Marlene P. Gentry of Iowa; favorite niece, Diane Savant of Houston, Tx; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Acard and Ida Pousson; his wife, Delores Lyles Pousson; two sisters, Audrine Marcantel and Beulah Corbello; and two brothers, Kinney Pousson and Rene' Pousson.
