Elton-John Milton Laughlin, 84, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024, at a local care facility. John's family will host private memorial and inurnment services in his memory at a future date. All of John's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

Those left to cherish John's memory include three nieces, Renee Guillory and husband Darren, Bridgette Baker, and husband Gater, Juanita Sanders, and husband James; two nephews, Robert Laughlin Jr. and wife Kassi and John "Johnny" Laughlin ll and wife Julie; and a host of great nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Hines, and Eva Laughlin; one brother, Robert Laughlin Sr., and two infant sisters, Marilyn, and Marie Laughlin.
