Elton-Funeral service for John Buller, 82, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Jose Vattakunnel will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes of Elton.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 7. Visitation will resume at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until time of service.
John was a loving husband and father. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Nellwynn, for 26 years. He loved his dogs. He had a small engine mechanic shop in Elton where he worked hard to provide for his family. He was a workaholic. John loved to take his wife out to eat on Sundays. He was a man of strong faith and a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He served our country in the United States Navy for 20 years until he retired in 1973. John will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish John's memory include his wife, Nellwynn of Elton; one son, Karl Buller of Elton; and one brother, Louis Buller and wife, Henrietta of Elton.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Elia Buller.
