Kinder-Funeral service for John Bertrand, 51, will be held at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder, April 17, 2015, at 5 p.m. Rev. Glen Ducharme will officiate.
The family will receive visitors Friday, April 17, 2015, from 10-5 p.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. A rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m.
John was a devoted husband to his wife, Tenita, for 25 years. He was a loving father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors, particularly bass fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife Tenita; three daughters, Kacy Lynn Diaz and husband, Jonathan, of Big Wells, TX; Jessi Rae Bertrand of Ragley; and Kristie Jade Davis Stracener and husband, William, of Pitkin; two brothers, Daniel Damian Bertrand of Elton; Jude Maxiel Bertrand of Alamagardo, NM; five sisters, Carmen Angela Elmore of Hathaway; Belinda Mary Caswell of Welsh; Rachael Bertrand of Murray; Mary Elizabeth Matherly of New Mexico; Marguerite Ann Bertrand of New Mexico; three grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his parents John I and Jeanette Crochet Bertrand; one sister, Teresa Bertrand.
