Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs.Johelen R. Miller, 79, will be held Friday, March 28, 2008 at 3 PM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Msgr. James Gaddy will officiate. Burial will be in McRill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.

Visitation will begin on Thursday from 4 PM to 10 PM, with a Vigil at 6 PM followed by a Rosary. Visitation will continue on Friday at 8 AM till time of service.

Mrs. Miller worked as postmaster for Reeves Post Office for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic church. She loved to quilt, tat, crochet, and was devoted to her family. Mrs. Miller happily spent the last 5 years of her life as a resident of Kinder Retirement and Rehabilitation Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Ray Miller. She is survived by her three sons; Charles "Ted" Wallace of Nashville, TN, Julian "Rick" Wallace and wife, Susan of Auburndale, FL, and James Wallace and wife, Brenda of Lakeland, FL; three daughters, Christine Craft of Kinder, Joanna Sneve and husband, John of Kinder, and Karen Bushnell of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Berwyn Lee Richard of Bunkie; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
