Oberlin- Funeral service for Mrs. Jimmie Dale Moore, 73, will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 2PM in Oberlin Baptist Church. Bro. Wade McAleece will officiate. Burial will follow in Hamilton Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Oberlin Baptist Church Sunday from 2pm-10pm and will continue Monday from 8am until time of service.
Mrs. Moore was a lifelong resident of Oberlin and a member of Oberlin Baptist Church where she worked very hard, especially after the church fire. She loved gardening and her work as a seamstress. She loved her children and grandchildren and she was a friend to all who knew her. Mrs. Moore will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her son, Bruce E. Cole & wife Cindy of Monroe; daughter, Belinda D. Kelly & husband Lawrence of Oberlin; brother, Cresswell Johnson & wife June of Fairview; 10 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, George Cole & Preston "Red" Moore; daughter, Diane Cole Sonnier and grandson, Brady Wayne Sonnier.
