Oakdale -Funeral service for Jimmie Jean Henry, 74, will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale. Rev. Charles Seal will officiate.   Jimmie will be peacefully laid to rest following her service at Beaver Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Jimmie's family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Jimmie Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She treasured her time spent with her family and friends.  She loved to sit on her front porch and visit with her neighbors and watch the traffic pass.  Some of her other past times included fishing at Miller's Lake and attending various sporting events that involved her grandchildren.  Mrs. Jimmie was Baptist by faith and a devoted member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church for many years. She will be dearly missed by her church family as well as forever loved and missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Jimmie's memory include her husband, Ronald Henry; her two daughters, Pattie Willis and Angela Hill; one brother, Pat Darden; three grandchildren, Brandon Willis, Eric Willis and Rileigh Tuttle; four great-grandchildren; as well as one great-grandbaby on the way in December.

Mrs. Jimmie is preceded in death by her mother, Verna Beverly; and one brother, Roger Darden.
