Kinder-Celebration of Life services honoring Jessie Vincent, 76, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, January 28, 2025, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Jessie will be laid to rest in Indian Village Cemetery immediately following his services.

Jessie's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes of Kinder Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m.  Jessie's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Jessie was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved unconditionally in every aspect of his life. Born to Christopher and Ida Vincent, Jessie grew up on the Lawton's Ranch in Choupique, La. He worked as a welder and mechanic then finished his career as an aircraft mechanic at Boeing/Grumman. As a child, Jessie's love for the outdoors was so great that he would strip down and get in the pond to be able to duck hunt. He would do everything he could to hide from his father, even going into the pond. As a loving grandfather, he would never miss an opportunity to see his granddaughter, Treasure play sports. Jessie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Jessie's memory include his former wife, Belinda Poncho; son, Chad Vincent and Kelly Fall; daughter-in-law, Tina Vincent; brother, Chris "Baby" Vincent; sister, Tina Taylor; granddaughter, Treasure Vincent; great-granddaughter, Finley Grace Vincent Hebert; and a host of extended family and friends.

Jessie is preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Ida Vincent; his son, Christopher Vincent; brother-in-law, Ray Taylor; sister-in-law, Loretta Vincent; and a host of brothers and sisters.
