I'm Free
“Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free; I took His hand when I heard Him call;
I turned my back and left it all. If my parting has left a void;
then fill it with remembered joy. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;
Lift up your hearts and share with me; God wanted me now, He set me free.”
Jessie James Boudreaux, age 73, passed away on May 14, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospice - The Carpenter House in Lafayette, Louisiana. Jessie was a quiet, hardworking man, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing pool, playing guitar, singing classic country and Elvis Presley songs, and cooking for his family.
