Jerry G. Thomason, 76, passed away Monday morning surrounded by his family. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Jerry was a loving husband to his wife, Beverly, for fifty-six years, as well as a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mud-riding, watching westerns and playing solitaire. Last, but not least, he loved spending time with his family. Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Jerry's memory include his wife, Beverly Thomason of Reeves; three daughters, Jo Ann Harkins and husband, Tim, of LeBlanc, LaDonna Thomason and husband, Mike Johnson, of Reeves and Sherry Thomason of Reeves; one sister, Linda Kirk of Florien; three grandchildren, Brandon Harkins and wife, Summer, Zachary Harkins and wife, Kristen and Emily Lynn and husband, Andrew; and three great grandchildren, Sophie, Maisyn and Gracyn.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Hazel Thomason; and two brothers, Joe and Randolph Thomason.
