Fenton- Funeral Mass for Mr. Jerry Augustine, 63, will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Fenton. Father Ruben Buller, Father Augustine Mulanjanany, and Monsignor Ronald Groth will officiate. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder Wednesday from 10a.m.-10p.m. with a vigil at 7p.m. with a rosary to follow. Visitation will continue Thursday at 8a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Augustine was a resident of Fenton, was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where he was a lector, choir member and a member of the landscape committee. He was also Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council # 10269. Mr. Augustine passed away Tuesday May 27, 2008 in his residence.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Freddie Augustine of Fenton; two brothers, Orville Augustine & wife Jan of Kinder, Bennett Augustine & wife Patricia of Fenton; two sisters, Carol Denison & husband Fred of Iowa, Vita Augustine Ardoin of Kinder; foster brother, Steve Menard & wife Debbie of Welsh; foster sister, Jean Duplichan of Kinder; numerous nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, McKinley & Alied Augustine; sister, Eula Mae Sharp; brother, Phil Augustine.
Mr. Augustine never met a stranger and his many family and great friends will dearly miss him.
