Kinder-Funeral service for Jeanette Bushnell Fontenot, 74, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2013 in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Terry Bushnell and Rev. Carroll Bushnell will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 3-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Sunday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Jeanette was a resident of LeBlanc. She was a homemaker who thoroughly enjoyed her family over the years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and a devoted wife of 58 years. Her memory will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Fontenot of LeBlanc; one son, Rickie Fontenot and wife, Janie of Pioneer; one daughter, Mickie Fontenot Bertrand and husband, Richard of LeBlanc; one sister, Juanita LeBleu of Rutledge, TN; one son-in-law, Joey Bell of Reeves; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Lena Bushnell; one daughter, Vickie Fontenot Bell; one granddaughter, Mickella Fontenot; and one great grandson, Jayshaan Montrell Fontenot-Moss.
