Elton- Funeral Mass for Mr. J. D. Guillory, 81, will be held Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church. Father Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday in the funeral home from 11am-10pm with a rosary at 7pm and will continue Thursday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Guillory was a resident of Elton, a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, member of the American Legion, and a WWII veteran of the US Army. He passed away Monday, September 8, 2008.
Survivors include three sons, John D. Guillory & wife Linda of Elton, André P. Guillory & wife Brenda of Elton, Michael J. Guillory & wife Margaret of Elton; one daughter, Diana G. Shuff & husband Jacob of Elton; three brothers, Robert Guillory of Lake Charles, Percy Guillory & Harry Guillory both of Eunice; three sisters, Ella Rose Fuselier of Eunice, Barbara Jones of Sulphur & Maudry Traha of Ragley; 18 grandchildren & 24 great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by his wife Grace LaFleur Guillory.
