Oberlin- Graveside service for Mr. J.C. Duplechain, 73, will be held Friday, September 18, 2009 at 2:00pm in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Ray Rainwater will officiate.
Mr. Duplechain was a resident of Oberlin. He passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Duplechain will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Alice Duplechain of Oberlin; six children, Mackie Duplechain of Mittie, Pamela Gobert of Elton, Cheryl Willis of Mamou, Ricky Duplechain of Oberlin, Tina Taylor of Oberlin, & Dennis Duplechain of Mittie; two sisters, Lovenia Courville and Jane Deshotel both of Oberlin; 19 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren.
