Elton- Graveside services for Mr. James Steward Duplichan, 68, will be Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 11 AM in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Deacon John Eaves will officiate.
Mr. Duplichan was a resident of Basile. He passed away on Wednesday in his residence.
Mr. Duplichan is survived by one daughter, Vicki Chappel; three sons, Mike Duplichan, Tony Duplichan, and David Duplichan; four step-children; Mark Dykes and wife Phyllis, Darnell Dykes, Edward Johnson, Jr. and wife Donna, and Wayne Wall; two brothers, Robert Duplichan of Toledo Bend, TX, and William "Bill" Duplichan of Maurice; and 16 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ella Duplichan, and nephew "Cricket". Words of Comfort may be left for the family at
