Oberlin-A Celebration of Life for Jameillia Evon Jackson, 44, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at True Faith Pentecostal Church in Oberlin. Rev. David Wolfe will officiate. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at True Faith Pentecostal Church on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Jameillia Yvonne Jackson was born December 21, 1977 in Pineville, La to the late Rev. Micheal Kirklin, Sr. and Wanda Gayle Jackson. Jameillia passed away on March 16, 2022 in Oberlin, La. She was the 2nd oldest of 5 siblings. Jameillia accepted Christ at an early age and was taught to "Trust and love the Lord."  She attended True Faith Pentecostal Church in Oberlin, La under the leadership of Pastor David Wolfe. Jameillia had many talents but she loved cooking, listening to music and she enjoyed time spent with family and life-time friends. She gave her all for family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews. Whenever needed, if she could, she was there. She prayed and read her bible frequently. Her final days were spent with family and friends that she loved, cherished, and had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life.

Those remaining to cherish beautiful memories shared with Jameillia are her two brothers, Ernest Kirklin of Colorado Springs, CO and Micheal Kirklin and wife, Syreeta, of Oberlin; two sisters, Sandrella Williams of Oakdale and LaSandra West and husband, James, of Colorado Springs, CO; grandmothers, Earnestine Jackson, Loriena January and husband, Vallin and Rosetta Kirklin; step-mother, Jessiee Kirklin and special nieces and nephews, Chaungelique Tippy, Tyrell Jackson and Nastassia Adams.

Jameillia is preceded in death by her parents, Micheal Kirklin and Wanda Jackson; grandparents, Mose Jackson and Ernest Kirklin; and nieces, Antoneshia "Nee Nee" Adams and Chermaine Tippy.
