Kinder-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jacquie Cooper, 58, announce her passing on March 6, 2014 at her Ragley home. A Memorial Service will be held at Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 to honor her life. The family requests that friends begin gathering at 5 p.m. with the service beginning at 7 p.m. Rev. Mike Paxton will officiate.
Jacquie was a resident of Ragley. She worked as a beautician for many years. She was a member of the Topsy Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed arts and crafts, music, computer games and keeping up with her many friends on Facebook. Jacquie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
Survivors include her husband, Alex Cooper of Ragley; one son, Charles McKinney and wife, Scylena of Ragley; one daughter, Heather Adams of Bossier City; one brother, Robert Kibodeaux and wife, Karen of Kinder; three sisters, Kelly Ricketson of Kingsland, TX, Tammy Corder of Houston, TX and Patricia Menard of Ragley; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jacquie is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gean McKinney; her father, Horace Robert Kibodeaux; two sisters, Gloria Kibodeaux and Linda Bain; and her mother-in-law, Doris Wells.
