Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Jackie Courville, 71, will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 2:00pm in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Mike Paxton will officiate. Burial will follow in Carter Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11am-10pm and will continue Wednesday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. Courville was a resident of Kinder. She loved to cook for her family, especially on Sundays, she also loved birds, cats, and drinking coffee with her neighbors. Her family, friends, grandchildren & great grandchildren that she loved so much will dearly miss her. Mrs. Courville passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Morris Courville; one son, Paul Courville & wife Leisha of Kinder; two daughters, Julee Cormier & husband Dennis, Tina Savant & husband Mark both of Kinder; one brother, Halson Carpenter of Sulphur; daughter-in-law, Tenna Courville of Kinder; 10 grandchildren, Laura, Casey, D.J., Karen, Katie, Kelli, Alysia, Jacob, Blake, & Lanie; eight great grandchildren, Karson, Konnor, Trevyn, Brinley, Sawyer, Kaleb, Joseph, & Jadyn.
Mrs. Courville is preceded in death by her son, Joe Courville & mother, Ollie Carpenter.
