Isabella Jack Leday was born on March 14, 1942 to the late Isreal "Jim" and Selma May Jack. She was the youngest of 17 children. She was united in marriage to the late Peter Leday. Isabella was a very talented seamstress, making bridal gowns, formals, mens suits, choir, usher, and baptismal robes just to name a few. She was a professional seamstress that made hard to find sizes, even without a pattern. With no money to buy new furniture, she upholstered her old furniture and made it new with matching drapes. She anxiously awaited her new grandchildren, just to be able to make them a new outfit. She was committed to instilling her values in all of her grandchildren. Her home was a daycare for all. Her ministry was wherever she encountered a soul in need. She was an active member of Refuge Temple Ministries, for 35+ years, where she was part of Matured woman, ordained as a handmaiden and in her earlier years she was an Usher. Isabella will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, three daughters, Dianna (Hillman) Gauthier, Barbara (Francis) Poullard and Rose Leday all of Fenton; one son, Donald (Bridgette) Leday of Fenton; one bonus son, Deon Lee Banks of Fenton; one sister, Elrena Guillory of Lake Charles; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Isabella was preceded in death by her late husband, Peter "LJ" Leday.
