Kinder-Irving "Dirk" Billiot, 58, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024, at a local care facility. "Dirk's" family will host private memorial and inurnment services in his memory at a future date. All of "Dirk's" arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

"Dirk" was a loving father and grandfather. He loved and adored his family; his four granddaughters were his entire world. "Dirk" loved to talk about watching them grow up and how much he loved them. He also loved his Lincoln! He would call his family all the time and talk about his car all the time. "Dirk" was funny, caring, and had a huge heart. He was a very kind person and was always willing to lend a helping hand. In his last days, he talked about taking a taxi back to his hometown. Hopefully, he was able to ride in that taxi and visit his home before his journey home to Jesus. "Dirk" will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish "Dirk's" memory include one son, Alex Billiot, one daughter, Bridget Fournerat and husband Michael; two brothers, Elvis Billiot and wife Carlene, and Kurt Billiot and wife LaDonna, three sisters, Linda Thibodeaux and husband LeRoy, Brenda Dehart and companion Robert Taylor, and Christine Billiot and husband Kirby; and four grandchildren, Aubrionna, Harper, Scarlett, and Mallory.

"Dirk" is preceded in death by his parents, Lance, and Betty Billiot; one brother, Michael Billiot, and one sister, Barbara Billiot.
