Obituary

Kinder-Funeral service for Louise Moore, 86, will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2015, in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Don Willis will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Sunday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Louise was a resident of "Crapaudville", Louisiana. She attended Kinder High School and was also a nursing school graduate. She worked at Jennings American Legion Hospital and did home care, as well. She, together with her husband of 60 years, worked hard to provide over the years for her family. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will be treasured by her family.
Those left to mourn her loss include her sons, Delbert Wayne Reeves, Gerald Moore and wife, Aprill, of Pine Island, Kirk Moore and wife, Carol, of Moss Bluff, and Barry Moore and wife, Carole, of Newark, TX; one daughter, Christine Moore Wright and husband, Nathan, of Pine Island; two brothers, Sonny and Roger McGee; three sisters, Josephine Phillips, Mardell Marcantel, and Barbara Tate; son-in-law, Robert LaPoint; 11 grandchildren-Robin and Lisa Lee Reeves, Melanie and Meredith Moore, Joshua and Jesse Moore, Gabriel, Abigail and Nicholas Moore, and, John and Adam Wright; 8 great grandchildren-Laryn Louise and Jack Simmons, Jaxson Moore, Gloria and Dominique Lattanzio, and Lincoln, Lawson and Jillian Moore.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Moore; her parents, Jesse and Florence McGee; one daughter, Alydia Moore LaPoint; brother, James G. McGee; and sister, Jessalea McGee.
Pallbearers for the service will be Louise's six grandsons and the honorary pallbearers will be her five granddaughters.
