Inez S. Hamilton, 83, of Kinder, Louisiana passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11am in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Deacon Roy Nash and Rev. Aaron Lopez will officiate. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder beginning on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 2-9pm and will continue on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 8am until time of service.

Inez was born and raised in Mittie, Louisiana and has lived most of her life in Kinder. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to her beloved children and taking care of her husband of 46 years, Herbert J. Hamilton.

Inez is survived by her two children, Cheryl Hamilton Whitaker of Moss Bluff, and Gregory J. Hamilton and wife, Lynda of Kinder; six grandchildren, Darren Whitaker and wife, Renee, and Tiffany Doucet and husband, Albert, Jr. all of Lake Charles, Mysti Smith of Humble, TX, Logan Hamilton, Zachary Hamilton and Morgan Hamilton, all of Kinder; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by one sister, Gertrude Tramel of Mittie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert J. Hamilton; her brother, Delmer Singleton, and her parents, Seth and Margaret Smith Singleton.
