Kinder-Funeral Services for Inez L. Fruge, 92, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Don Barrett will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 4-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Inez was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many. She was a devoted wife to her husband, John, for fifty years until his passing in September 1993. Inez was a woman of strong faith and a faithful member of Green Oak Bible Church. She made the best cornbread dressing; it will be dearly missed. Inez enjoyed sewing, cooking, drinking coffee, traveling the world and working on her family farm. She cherished every moment she spent with her family. She was a very giving person and enjoyed good company.  Inez will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Inez's memory include her two sons, John A. Fruge and wife, Ann, of Kinder and Michael D. Fruge and wife, Juanita, of Kinder; one daughter, Susan R. Fruge of Kinder; one brother, Jacob "Jake" Lawrence and wife, Phyllis, of Kinder; six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Inez is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John N. Fruge; two brothers, George and Robert Lawrence; and one sister, Gladys Lawrence.
