Oakdale- Illana "Lana" Johnson, 68, passed away at her home peacefully on May 22, 2021. A memorial service will be held in her honor at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Lana was a loving mother, sister and friend. She loved children and the elderly. She would do anything for anyone. Lana loved her family unconditionally. She always had a good sense of humor, as well. Lana loved her Grandma Mary and Brother Bo with all her heart and missed them dearly after their passing. Lana will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Lana's memory include her two daughters, Kara Preston and Kasey Gresham; son-in-law, Randel Gresham; two sisters, Sissy Morris of Loganport and Teresa Linkous of Florida; two brothers, Seldon Linkous of West Virginia and Jon Linkous of Flordia; three grandchildren that she loved with all of her heart; as well as a host of countless friends.

Lana is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Johnson; her father, Dennis and birth mother, Beatrice Linkous; mother, Mary Meshell; and three brothers, Bo and Tony Linkous and Lloyd Saunders.
