Oakdale-Funeral service for Ilene Tilley, 67, will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2019, at Allen Parish Funeral Home.  Rev. Mike Westergard will officiate.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home, 311 Highway 1152, Oakdale, on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Ilene was a loving wife to her husband, Robert, for 49 years.  She was also a very devoted mother and grandmother.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who loved their "Nana" very much.  Ilene loved to cook for her children and grandchildren; always making sure they had plenty on the holidays.  She loved putting up seasonal decorations, especially at Easter and Christmas time.  Ilene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Ilene's memory include her loving husband, Robert Tilley; her son Teddy Tilley and wife, Stacy; brother, Russel W. Willis, half-brother, Bill Doyle; half-sister, Letaine Melder; and three grandchildren, Cole Goode, Emily Tilley, and Megan Marcantel.

Ilene is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Verna Willis; her daughter, Tina Goode; and half-brother, Bobby Doyle.
