Oakdale-Celebration of Life services honoring Ida Louise Young-Clear, 76, will be held on Tuesday afternoon, October 27, 2026, at 2 o’clock p.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale. Bro. Kinsey Morgan will officiate.

Ida’s family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale on Tuesday morning, October 27, 2026, from 11 o’clock a.m. until time of service. All of Ida’s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.

Ida was a wonderful wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend whose life was centered around the people she loved most. The family fondly remembers her as a beautiful woman inside and out.

On September 1, 1978. Ida married her husband, Marcus Clear. Together, they built a life rooted in love, family, friendship, and togetherness. To Ida, being a wife and mother was among her greatest joys. She was a devoted mother to her children, and her immediate family held a very special place in her heart. Ida found joy in the simple things that allowed her to care for and connect with those around her. She enjoyed Word Search Puzzles, Cross-Stitching, Walking, and most importantly spending time with family.

Although her time here felt far too short, the love Ida poured into her family and those around her will remain a lasting part of her memory. She will be remembered for the wife and mother she was, the relationships she treasured, and the love she shared with those fortunate enough to call her family or friend.

Those left to cherish Ida’s memory include her loving husband, Paul Clear; her son, Mark Clear; three daughters, Jody (Brad) Morgan, Oberlin, LA; Wanda (David) Stewart, Huntsville, AL: Marsha (Oscar) Vasquez, El Paso, TX; Six grandchildren: Kinsey Morgan, Mason Morgan, Katelyn Stewart, Megan Stewart, Gianni Vasquez, and Isaac Vasquez. Three great grandchildren: Alexis Morgan, Paisley Morgan, and Malorie Morgan. One brother: Carl Young, Jr, TX. Many Nieces, and Nephews, and dear friends whose lives she has touched.

Ida is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lena Young, and four sisters.
