Kinder-Funeral services for Hunter Lee Mayon, 28, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Pastor Sean Barron will officiate. Burial will follow at Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 5-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Hunter was a loving son, father, brother, grandson and friend to many. He was a gifted artist when it came to painting and drawing. Hunter enjoyed fishing and playing video games with his nieces and nephews. He was always helping somebody; from strangers to helping his neighbors with projects. More than anything, Hunter enjoyed spending time with his son and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Hunter's memory include his parents, Aubrey Jr., and Maria Perez Mayon; son, Landon Wayne Lee Mayon of Sulphur; two sisters, Amanda Mayon of Sulphur and Kasie Brown and husband, Casey, of Lake Charles; paternal grandfather, Aubrey Mayon, Sr.; nieces and nephews, Lacey Brown, Donte Brown, Ava Sutherland, RJ Sutherland, Isabell Cerbantes and Amelia Brown; as well as numerous aunts and cousins.

Hunter is preceded in death by his aunt, Raynea Mayon Teal; maternal grandparents, Joseph Perez and Geneva Dronet Perez; and paternal grandmother, Patricia Mayon.
