Hubert, affectionately known as "Cornbread", was a resident of Elton. He was a devoted husband of 60 years to his wife, Elta. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He retired after 25 years of service with the Jeff Davis Parish School Board. He served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved working with wood, dove hunting, gardening and raising farm animals. He enjoyed working around the house, and what he loved to call the "country life."
Those left to cherish Hubert's memory include his loving wife, Elta Fuselier, of Elton; his sister, Bernice Janice, of Elton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Hubert is preceded in death by his parents, Olyfus and Marie Fuselier; and his two brothers, Herbert and Winford Fuselier.
