Horace was born in Mamou, but lived most of his life in Elton. He was a devoted husband of 64 years to Mary Jane Pierrotti and a decorated veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was also a local businessman who worked in several trades but is mostly remembered for the 30 years he spent as the owner of M&M's grocery store. He was kind to people in need and helped many families during this time. Horace also served his community as a volunteer Fire Chief of Elton for 12 years. He also served on the Selective Service Committee and was Post Commander for a time at the local American Legion. He had many friends, and many relatives, and he loved to have a good time. His passion for fishing, Cajun music, politics, storytelling, and laughter will be missed at every gathering and remembered by every loved one.
Survivors include one son, Mike Pierrotti and wife, Clara of Elton; one daughter, Stephanie Pierrotti and

Horace is preceded in death by his parents, Ozelma Aucoin and William Pierrotti; two sisters, Evelyn Fuselier and Gail Johnson; and two brothers, Burke and Johnny.
