Oakdale-Private Graveside Services for Herman Dennis Warren, 74, will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Cryer Cemetery with Rev. Mark Swinnea officiating. All arrangements are entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Herman was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Tamula, for twelve and a half years. He was a kind, sweet and loving person. Herman enjoyed taking care of his family and worked hard to provide for them. He was a millwright and retired from Cajun Electric in New Roads. He enjoyed making people laugh any chance he had. Herman will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Herman's memory include his wife, Tamula Swinnea Warren of Oakdale; two sons, Dwayne Warren of Baton Rouge and Greg Warren of Walker; one daughter, Lisa Warren of Texas; two brothers, James Warren of Hineston and Keith Warren of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Lola Warren of Arkansas and Mary Jane Warren of Texas; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Naomi Swinnea; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Josh and Paula McGee; five grandchildren, Nicole Swinnea, Destiny Warren, Jacob Warren, Coby Warren and Stephen Warren; five great granddaughters, Sarah, Joslynn, Chancely and Jaylee Warren and Karmyn Swinnea.

Herman is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Opal Warren; first wife, Dessie Warren; and mother-in-law, Rose Swinnea.
