Kinder-Celebration of Life services honoring Harris James Kratzer Jr., 42, will be held on Tuesday afternoon, April 2, 2024, at 3 o'clock p.m. At Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Harris will be laid to rest at Fisher-Miller-Flash Cemetery in Iota immediately following his services.

Harris's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Tuesday afternoon April 2, 2024, from 1 o'clock p.m. until time of service. All of Harris's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Harris affectionately called "Lil Harris" by all who knew him was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a very hard worker and worked as a roofer and carpenter his whole life. He was very talented at building homes and making home repairs.  He was a very humble and loyal person and would help anyone in need. He loved his truck, being outdoors, barbecuing, and spending time with his family. Harris will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish Harris's memory include five sons, Nathan, Noah, and Jordan Kratzer and twin sons, Torin, and Kyson Holman; two daughters, Emma Grace Andrews, and McKinley Dial; one brother, Joshua Kratzer; three sisters, Misty Nivens, and Candy, and Katrina Kratzer; and a host numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Harris is preceded in death by his parents, Harris James Sr. and Tammy Kratzer; one niece, Bobby Nivens; paternal grandparents, John Kratzer and Joyce Gibson, maternal grandparents, Thomas Barnwell and Julia Smith; two uncles; and one aunt.
