Elton- Funeral service for Mr. Harold J. Shuff Sr., 78, will be held Monday, January 28, 2008 at 3p.m. in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Deacon John Eaves will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6pm-10pm with a scripture service at 7p.m. Visitation will continue Monday at 8a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Shuff was a native of Elton and a resident of Lumberton, TX. He was an Army Veteran that served in the Korean Conflict and was a recipient of the Purple Heart, was a member of the DAV. Mr. Shuff passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008 in his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Shuff of Lumberton, TX; two sons, Jimmy Shuff of Ruston & Harold J. Shuff Jr. of Elton; two daughters, Nelda LaFosse of Kinder & Marjorie Deshotel of Iowa; step children, Walter Scarborough of Dallas, David Scarborough of Zavalla, Donna Gale Luttrull of Lumberton, Barry Scarborough of Lumberton; sister, Myrna Young of Elton; 23 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Robert & Agnes Shuff.
