Kinder-Funeral service for Grace Lynn Smith will be held at 11 a.m. in the Ethel Green Chapel at Camp Pearl. Rev. Glenn Ducharme will officiate. Burial will follow in Creel Memorial Gardens under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in the Ethel Green Chapel at Camp Pearl from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Grace was born on August 19, 1942 and went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2017 at the age of 74. She attended Reeves Family Place Church and Reeves Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Grace is survived by her husband, James Richard Smith; son, David Smith (Adriana); daughters, Julie Murakami (Derek) and Karen Kristine Smith; four grandchildren, Fernando Soltero, James R. Smith II, Alexandra Grace Lake, and Ryley Murakami; sister, Ann Winzor; sister-in-law, Cathy Hollingsworth; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
