Kinder-Funeral service for Juanita "Grace" Abbott Granger Morvant,67, will be held
Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11AM in Ardoin Funeral Home of
Kinder. Rev. Vernon Martindale will officiate. Burial will follow
in Green Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 1-9 PM
at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Visitation will continue Wednesday
at 10AM until time of service.
Grace was a resident of Broussand, La., but formerly of Kinder. She was a graduate of Kinder High School. She worked in Office Management, loved to travel, and enjoyed her hobby of Photography. She also was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a dear friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Morvant of Broussard; one son, Raymond Granger Sr. and wife Melane of Sorrento, La.; one daughter, Monica Capito and husband David of Geismar, La.; one sister, Linda Eoff and husband Jim of Greenfield, Mo.; and nine
grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Belle and James Abbott;first husband,Raymond Granger Sr.; one brother, Jimmy Abbott; and two sisters, Lenora Abbott, and Rita Manuel.
