Mr. Gordon E. Cutler

Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Gordon E. Cutler, 71, will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 1 PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Deacon Roy Nash will officiate. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery in Guy, LA.

Visitation will begin on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 5 to 10 PM, with a Rosary being held at 7 PM, and will continue on Saturday from 8 AM till time of service. Paul bearers will be Brian Collert, Ian Collert, Jeremy Collert, Brett Walker, Cory Walker and Scott Walker.

Mr. Cutler was a resident of Bossier City. He passed away on Wednesday in Bossier City. Mr. Cutler served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force where he worked on aircraft. Two of his grandsons now follow in his footsteps, serving their country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the VFW. He was a loving father, grandparent and husband.

Mr. Cutler is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mrs. Faye Guillet Cutler of Bossier City; four daughters, Jacqueline Collert and husband Brian of Warner Robins, GA, Mary Goblowsky and husband Robbie of Texarkana, TX, Debbie Walker and husband Donnie of Shreveport, LA, and Jennifer Sentell and husband Bret of Shreveport, LA; two brothers, Richard Cutler and wife Hilda of Fayetteville, N.C. and Roger Cutler of New York; two sisters, Dorothy Grasso and husband Vinnie of Rome, N.Y. and Phylis Dye of Rome, N.Y., two sisters-in-law, Tena Bright of Lafayette, LA and Helen Veronie of Basile, LA, four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
