Elton- Funeral mass for Mrs. Lurcy LaFleur, 67, will be held Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sonnier Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Father Marshall Boulet will officiate.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10am-9pm with a rosary at 7pm and will continue Thursday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. LaFleur was a resident of Elton, member of the American Legion, former member of Ladies Altar Society & NCO Wives Club. She owned & operated Lurcy's Family Restaurant in Elton. Mrs. LaFleur passed away Monday, June 11, 2007 in Mamou.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Roger LaFleur of Elton; two sons, Eric LaFleur of Brockwell, AR & Norris LaFleur of San Antonio, TX; three daughters, Louise LaFleur Jurica of Canyon Lake, TX, Anita Compton of Pineville, Cindy Lemieux of Alexandria; two brothers, Dallas Clement of New Orleans & Gene Clement of Houston, TX; two sisters, Ruth Montecino of Nashville, TN, & Lucy Goodwyn of Waverly, IL; 9 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
