Oberlin-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gloria Guillory, 56, announce her passing on Friday, October 7, 2016 after a battle with cancer. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin. Rev. William Curry will officiate. Burial will follow in Oaklin Springs Cemetery under the direction of Allen Parish Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Gloria was a kind and loving sister and daughter. She was a dedicated wife to her husband, Edward Guillory, who preceded her in death. Gloria was a hard-worker who was always willing to lend a helping hand. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Gloria is survived by her mother, Lillian Marcantel, of Oberlin; two sisters, Ramona and Carol Marcantel, both of Oberlin; and two brothers, Larry Marcantel of Michigan and Danny Marcantel, of Scott.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Guillory; and, two brothers, Gene and Robert Marcantel.
