Kinder- Celebration of Life services honoring Gloria Dean Corkran, 83, of Saint Amant, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Leigh Rogers will officiate. Gloria will be laid to rest at Kinder McRill Cemetery immediately following her services.

Gloria's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Gloria's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Gloria was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Bill Corkran for 41 years, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed crafting, flowers, playing with her grandchildren, and shopping. She babysat for others for 15 years in Port Allen and again when she moved back to Kinder. Gloria loved the kids and the parents she sat for as if they were her own. She was a kind and caring person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Gloria's memory include her daughter, Ginger Hull and husband Doug; one brother, J.B. Fontenot and wife Clara; one sister, Loretta Armand and husband Patrick; four grandchildren, Sydney Smith and husband Cameron, Hayden, Aaron, and Avery Hull; great grandson, Samuel Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Audrey Fontenot; her husband, William "Bill" Corkran; and one sister, Juanita Tupper.
