Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Glenn Kennedy, 55,will be Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 11 AM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Bro. Glenn Ducharme will officiate. Visitation will begin on Monday from 4 PM to 10 PM and will continue on Tuesday from 8 AM till time of service. Interment will be in Perkins Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Kennedy was a resident of Reeves. He was a 16-year veteran of the Allen Parish Sheriff's Department. He died Saturday evening in Kinder.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Kennedy, his mother Sarah Kennedy of BogueChitto, Miss., one son; Anthony Kennedy of Reeves; one daughter; Alana Kennedy of Brookhaven, Miss., one brother, Steve Kennedy and wife Dawn of McComb, Miss., two sisters, Sarah Lynn Rushing and husband Decator of Brookhaven, Miss, and Julia Ann Richardson and husband Johnny of BogueChitto, Miss., and three grandchildren, Hayley, Hayden and Kaylee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Kennedy and his father, George Kennedy.
