Kinder-Memorial services celebrating the life of Glenda Bertrand, 82, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Glenda was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed decorating her home, having parties, shopping and cooking. Glenda was an active member at Glad Tidings Church in Lake Charles. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Glenda's memory include her daughter, Melissa Richey of Scott, LA; brother, Roy O. Manuel and wife, Thelma, of Elton; Sister, Billie Jo Sonnier of Kinder; five grandsons, Joey Roller, Joshua Richey, Dakota Richey, Michael Bertrand and Brandon Bertrand; and four great grandchildren.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lois Manuel; husband, Clarence Louis Bertrand, Sr.; and two sons, Clarence Louis Bertrand, Jr. and William Douglas Bertrand.
