Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Glen Earl LaFosse, 59, will be held Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 2 PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev.Gary Evers will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oaks Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM, and will continue on Thursday from 8 AM till time of service. Mr. LaFosse died Tuesday in his residence. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a friend to all who knew him. Glen enjoyed playing the keyboard and the guitar.

Mr. LaFosse was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Earl LaFosse. He is survived by his mother, Ruby LaFleur and her fiancé Kurt Pierce of Kinder; his stepfather, Willie LaFleur, Sr. of Elton; his daughters, Denise Trahan and husband Corey of Moss Bluff, Vanessa Boudreaux and husband Bryan of Baton Rouge, and their mother, Rita LaPoint- LaFargue; Earl Ann LaFosse, Shelly LaFosse and their mother, Kathy LaFosse, all of Elton; one son, Joshua LaFosse of Elton; five brothers, John LaFosse and wife Debbie of Kinder, James LaFosse and wife Nelda of Kinder, Kyle LaFosse and wife Holly of Perry, OK, Rickey LaFleur of Reeves, and Willie LaFleur, Jr. and wife Melissa of Kinder; three sisters , Paula Reeves and husband Hubert of Reeves, Pamela Smith of Kinder, and Allyson Johnson and husband Randy of Kinder and 3 grandchildren.
